Bart Ehrman and N.T. Wright are debating at beliefnet over the perennial question of God and human suffering. I haven't had time to read the whole debate, but I have skimmed it. Both scholars raise some stimulating points, but I find neither satisfying (or convincing). Nevertheless, the debate itself is educational. It is helpful to see how each argues, where each is coming from, and—perhaps most interesting—what questions each avoids addressing.
